Vtg. RARE US MILITARY Lantern 1963 U. S. KING SEELEY THERMOS CO. MACOMB, ILLINOIS

This is a very "RARE" hard-to-find lantern. It is a mil-spec lantern made in one year only (1963) by the Macomb (Illinois) Plant, Thermos Division, King-Seeley Thermos Co. These lanterns are very collectible and hard to find because of the limited production run.

The color is Drab Green! No Coleman Mil-spec collection is complete without this model. This Lantern one has been run very little if at all.

The vent is perfect as is the fount paint. All decals are 100% & legible. A few minor nicks seen in photos. In the parts safe cover are extra mantles, wrench, & plunger grommet, also are 2 extra aluminum gas lines supplies & extra mantles.

Clearly, the original funnel and fuel cap and their chains are present with no rust. The frame looks great & 4 separate pieces of glass all intact with no chips, cracks or repairs! The box is sturdy and strong & secures the lantern well, the box does have some staining on several sides.
