A vintage true and historic british lantern used during world war two. Lantern is a unique antique piece that holds historical significance! This maritime lamp, originally produced for use during world war II is a rare find from 1945. The craftsmanship and origin of this unique lantern make it a valuable addition to any collection of antique maritime memorabilia. Best and Lloyd was founded in 1840 and specialized in producing lighting for the great houses of europe and america.

Winston Churchill chose the firm for lighting in Whitehall, and Downing street. B & L ltd did the lighting for the Orient Express. As we found it in florida 1970...

And has been safely stored. Age and wear, has rust and dents.
