VL1231 Antique c1910 Brass Craftsman Lantern Pendant Slag Glass Shade Restored

Second City Salvage is offering today this antique c1910 brass Craftsman or Arts & Crafts lantern pendant with slag or opalescent panels. One of the glass pieces does have a tight hairline crack.

It is not notable, but I have to mention (last photo in the listing - upper left piece). It has been restored in that all lacquer has been stripped off down to bare brass and we found this amazing patina underneath. It has only been lightly cleaned. All components are brass and it measures 5 3/4"w and will drop 17 1/2" from the ceiling once installed. The canopy for this light is a stepped hexagon canopy and very unique.

It measures 5 1/8" dia x 2 ½"h. It has the original socket which has been restored and accepts a standard base bulb, will come to you with period correct gold cloth wiring and a modern cross bar needed for install. What's not to love here?
