Vintage Ship Chandlers Brass Lantern ROBB MOORE & NEILL Glasgow Cardiff London

This old lantern is in nice condition with all of its original glass. I detected one small chip on bottom of the glass chimney which is not visible until it is removed from the fitter. The brass has nice natural patina and it has some stress cracks around the thin brass around the top.

I did not clean or polish this item. I will leave that up to the new owner to decide. It has dirt and dust throughout. This is a well made piece, made with welds and hand made rivets. It weighs about 6 1/4 pounds.

The only screw is located on the chimney fitter that holds the chimney in place. It measures about 15" tall and 18" tall to the top of the handle and it's about 7 1/4 in diameter. The tank is empty / dry and contains no oil residue. Please review all 12 photos for your most accurate description and size reference.
