This January 1967 Sears gas lantern is in nice condition for a lantern of 54 years old! While I have not added fuel or tried to light it, it does pump up, hold pressure, and hiss when the valve is opened. I bought it from a friend and fellow collector who indicated it was working well before he began to refurbish it. The fount and burner area have been repainted (see a blemish area under the fuel cap) and a period correct reproduction Sears decal has been added.

It comes with a Coleman red letter Pyrex globe. The vent is nice but does have some chipping and it looks like a small amount of silver paint got on it. Please see all photos as a guide for overall condition.
