Vintage'Not Under Command' Ships Oil Lantern, Lord Line, Hull Fishing Vessel

Difficult to date, but I would suggest around 1930 - 70's and looks unused. "Lord Line Ltd, Makers, St Andrews Dock, Hull" (One of the largest fishing trawler operators working out of Hull). "Hull Fishing Vessel Owners Association, Hull, No 2172". Removable internal glass (not perspex) red coloured filter, marked "C B Ltd 9X7" (Chance Brothers Ltd - Smethwick). Glass fresnel lens marked "GGG" within a triangle, (Genthe Glass Goslar - Germany).

Original oil burner within, with conical glass shade, the wick tuner is marked "Sherwoods Ltd, Birmingham". Large - 58cm high including handle x 34cm wide x 28cm deep. Very good condition, with only superficial wear, marks, dints and tarnishing. No chips or cracks to the glass. I also have a large'Port Side' navigation, from the same maker / organisation, which is being listed separately.
