Vintage Missiouri Pacific Railroad lantern with the original clear globe. The MP logo is embossed in the globe along with Safety First. The lantern has MOPAC embossed on it. It appears to still have most of the original nickle plating. This would make a nice collection to your railroad lantern collection.
Approximate Measurements It measures 15" tall including the handle, 9 3/4" without. It has a 7 diameter base. Markings Safety First, MP, Made in USA (embossed in the globe) MOPAC Handlan St Louis USA (embossed in the lantern along with other markings) Condition Good condition for its age with no dents.
It has some minor surface rust and there are some minor splits in the top, examine the photos closely. The globe is in good shape with very minor chipping around the edges.
