Vintage Lantern Boy Pat Sept 19th 76 Mini Brass Skaters Lamp Pre Dietz

VINTAGE LANTERN "BOY PAT SEPT 19TH 76" MINI BRASS SKATERS LAMP PRE DIETZ. Antique mini Skater's Lamp / Lantern marked BOY PAT. This 1876 patent lamp pre dates the Dietz Boy skater's lamp.

It is unmarked as to the maker. The burner is marked Pat. Mar 1 1864" and "Convex but I couldnt get a clear pic of that. Lantern is brass except for a tin metal at the bottom. It measures 6 1/4" to the top of the bail on the cap and 10 1/2" to the top of the extended handle.

The globe is a little loose in the bottom cap, but I think it was made that way as the top bail holds it on. GLASS IS CRACKED vertically as seen in the one close up.
