However today there seems to be a trend of just fitting Decorative filament bulbs which I think this lantern lends it's self to and therefore the old glass retaining strips can simply be removed. With a good clean, polish and re wire This lantern would look simply superb and probably not another like it as i tried for the best part of 2 hours to find one!
