From an old clockmakers workshop clearance.. Will update with better details later.. This clock was made in the C20th by William Grey. It is a good replica clock made with ORIGINAL VERGE ESCAPEMENT. They were all hand made and individual AFAIK. This one is unique in so much as the outer frame, doors, finials etc. Have all been GOLD PLATED! At considerable cost I imagine! Anyway clock comes with weight and is working - but would need to be put on a bracket or similar as these clocks are made to work that way ie no hoop/spikes.
