Vintage Copper & Brass Anchor Maritime Ship Oil Lantern Electric Lamp Converted

Vintage anchor oil lamp converted to a electric lamp. This piece appears to be copper as this piece was painted a dark red.

The paint has faded overtime so it now appears as more of a rust color. The masking tape pulled the paint off exposing the copper as seen in photos. This would look so much better restored to its original condition and frankly if the paint came off just with masking tape that shouldn't be to difficult. All pieces seem to be here.

This doesn't appear to have been used as there is no oily residue in the container. Also the wick is unused unless it was replaced? I just personally don't see any evidence of burning. No chips or cracks in the glass. No dings or dents I can see anywhere.

Overall it's in excellent condition (not perfect) expect some small scratches and scuffs here and there. I'm not sure the age or the origin. Approximate measurements are 13-1/2" x 7-1/2" and the weight is 6.4 pounds. The lamp conversion seems to be circa 1960s 1970s based off the cord.

There is no on off switch. Plug it in on pull the plug off. It's just a standard bulb in there now I had laying around however you can add any bulb you like. Personally I think a flicker bulb would be best and make this look realistic. Please if you have any questions or need more photos don't hesitate to ask.
