Frank Morrison, along with his son, established the Frank Morrison And Son Company, which received its incorporation in December 1977 and was based in Cleveland, Ohio. The lantern features a black-painted steel body and brass accents, such as the cap and the top loop.

On the front of this lantern is a brass plaque that bears the inscription: FRANK MORRISON MAKER CLEVELAND OHIO. The lantern has a 360-degree Fresnel glass design with a small fragment missing in one section. To access the lantern's interior, a small latch can be slid to the side, allowing you to lower the bottom section. The item does have some rust on its base, as shown in some photographs.
