Vintage 1920's Antique Colonial Wheel Cut Lantern Entry Pendant Restored

I'm very excited to offer for your consideration this elegant, colonial style wheel cut 1920's entry/foyer pendant! This pendant totally embodies classic 1920s stylings, and is a visual treat! The fixture as a whole is quite charming, and would suit many different styles of decor.

The aged brass hardware and distinctive lantern construction really make this piece stand out. I have thoroughly cleaned this piece, only making some discreet touch-ups to the hardware, but otherwise leaving the finish as found.

It is never a goal of mine to make a vintage fixture appear brand new - rather, to retain some subtle signs of age so that one can still tell upon close inspection that it is, well, old! The shade is in excellent condition and is free of chips and cracks, although there are some very minor flakes to both the top and bottom edges of the cylinder, but these are unnoticeable when installed hung high overhead.

The chain, cloth wiring, and mounting hardware are new, while the socket and canopy are original. The canopy is approximately 5 inches in diameter and will amply cover a modern electrical box. I would recommend a large, soft white 60W equivalent LED bulb in this fixture. If you've been looking for something elegant for your foyer or hallway, this knockout might just be the one! This scale of this fixture is ideal for almost any small to medium size space, measuring about 27 - inches to the bottom of the lantern, and 6 - inches in diameter. I can adjust adjust the length a bit if need be, subtracting up to 2 total inches of length at maximum, or by adding additional chain.
