RARE Antique Paul Hanson Large Brass Glass Nautical Ship Lantern Lamp

Very, very heavy, approximately 25-30 pounds. Without shade measures 25 tall. Lantern glass is dated 1917.

Brass has not been polished or cleaned and still has a beautiful patina. Cord appears in good condition. The bottom part seems as though it might swing open but I'm honestly not sure because it's very tight and I don't want to hurt it.

The shade is I'm sure not original but it's very, very nice with satin lining and linen fabric. I'm including it only because they were found as one piece originally and it fits so nice but if you're not interested in it I can adjust the price a bit.
