RARE Antique Berger Patent Art Deco Gold Black Lantern Lamp & Fiberglass Shade

It was designed to be operated with a battery. Very old and has an attractive gold and black geometric diamond pattern.. Indicative of the art deco time frame!! Also has a very cool antique fiberglass shade!

Marking on lamp: BERGER PAT'D. I have no idea if you can get a battery for this any more! The battery compartment area (base) measures approximately 5" in length, 2.75" in width, & 4.25 in height. NOTE: Please read the condition description and review the photos.. I include several so that you can take a close-up look at the exact item you will receive.

Some approximate measurements of the overall lamp - lantern (with shade on). Width at the widest portion of the shade: 4.5. Weight: Just shy of 1 pounds.

This piece was in the inventory of an old fishing resort in Northern Wisconsin.. And I have used it for display. I had always intended to retrofit it with more modern technology..
