Large Solid Brass Lantern Oil Lamp Handled Heavy Vintage Nautical Wall hanging
This is for a very rare lantern. It is a style and weight of none I have come across. It has a hook on the back for hanging on the wall and a handle for carrying. It is very thick brass, glass and sturdy piece. This would most likely have used as a real light source.
It does not have makes name or mark on it. The lantern measures: 15 inches tall (19.5 inches with the handle raised) x 8.5 inches wide and 5.5 inches in depth. This one does not have glass on the back since it would have been hung on the wall.
It also has an original price tag on the top of it. The piece weighs just under 9 lbs!
