KAESTNER & TOEBELMANN Panzer kerosene lantern, circa 1905 - 1915! A beautiful and fully complete lantern from Germany, carefully de-rusted! It comes with its original pear-shaped "PANZER" globe! This is a truly rare find and real treasure for collectors! The burner turning knob has a K&T logo: KAESTNER & TOEBELMANN - Erfurt.

On the front badge it says: D. 56269/71076 KAESTNER & TOEBELMANN - Erfurt. Kästner & Töbelmann, based in Erfurt, Germany was one of the most respected Thuringian manufacturers of kerosene lamps.

Their models are very popular among collectors. It was founded in 1874 and became one of the five largest kerosene lamp factories in Germany. Toebelmann already had an enterprise in which later Franz Kaestner got involved, and in 1899 became a solo owner after the death of S.

The name Kaestner & Toebelmann was continued as a brand name until the business closure in 1937. This is an antique item with age-related imperfections.
