All parts are original except for the reproduction glass globe from Craig Seabrook. I replaced the filler gasket, and the lantern holds pressure for days - no leaks, no stress cracks.

There is no reason why this Arc lantern should not function perfectly, but I do not want to fuel or light the lantern myself. There is oxidation to the nickel, but no pitting or rough textures. The lower half of the fount shows nearly perfect nickel finish, while the upper half has surface oxidation - as if the bottom half were taped or sealed for all these years. There is one very small, shallow dent scarcely evident in picture 9 (see photos please).
