Antique Vtg Chinese Asian Oriental Puzzle Box Style Glass Panel Palace Lantern

This antique Chinese lantern features a puzzle box style design with glass panels, showcasing intricate craftsmanship. The lantern is made of wood and displays a vibrant multi-color palette, embodying traditional Asian design.

Its origin is traced back to China, adding to its cultural significance and appeal. The maker of the lantern is unknown, adding to its mysterious and historical charm. The way it is put together is all the glass sits in the slots on the lantern without screws, it is pretty sturdy when put together but I personally would definitely suggest glue or tape to ensure it doesn't fall or break includes two extra glass panels. The glass panels are handpainted in reverse. There are six panels to complete the lantern and two extra panels.

This piece is not complete, usually there are horizontal panels on the top of the lantern, but this piece is beautiful as is.
