Antique Vintage Wall Mounted Lamp Lantern Case Terrarium. Bevel Glass Mirror Back

For providing shelter to a lantern or candle, this large and beautiful mirror backed piece could also be used as a terrarium for displaying tender plants. If used for lighting, the mirror back will enhance the light provided.

The case is made of richly stained varnished wood and the door has brass hinges, brass handle and decorative brass corner pieces. The glass sides of the case have bevelled edges. The inside back is mirrored. There is a brass chimney vent at the top. There are brass hanging plates at the top back.

The back is extended underneath to provide extra support for the base of the case. Width: 27.5 cms (10.75). Depth: 21 cms (8.25). Internal dimensions of the case are. Width: 21.5 cms (8.5).

In excellent condition but note some dents to the inside of the front adjacent to the hinges. These are under the varnish.

This size and weight allowance should allow adequate protection for the safe transport of the piece.
