Nice old Pitner Parlor Lamp, Estate fresh, lady of the house converted old items to lamps, she passed at 103 years old. This is an early 1900s lamp from the Pinter the 1900s Gasoline light fixture. The Pitner Gasoline lighting Co was based in Chicago, Illinois and much better known for its hollow wire lighting systems than it ever was for its free standing pressure lamps. There does not appear to be very much documented evidence of the company. The company was headed by Marion Pitner and became charted as and Illinois Corporation in April 1904.
