Antique Piper Railroad Lantern Railway Caboose Lamp Frame

Caboose lamp frame with one cracked lens. It has been repainted many times and the makers badge is difficult to read.

I see the "Piper" and believe I see the "Hiram" but the rest is difficult. I have looked extensively online and can't find this particular model with the same. I have included a few photos at the end. The lantern frame's condition is as shown with dings, wear, and rust / flashing.

The insert seems fixed at the moment and won't budge. The one lens has many cracks.

The lantern measures 14 inches high, not including the handle and 4.5. Inches in diameter across the top plate. It measures about 9 inches across the widest spot.
