For sale is an antique Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR) Dressel Lantern from Arlington, N. Dating from the late 1800s to early 1900s, it features a sturdy metal frame with a ventilated top, wire guard, and an etched red globe for signaling.
Includes the original kerosene burner and wick. Stamped with Dressel Arlington, N.
And bearing the PRR logo, it signifies its historic use by the PRR. Lightly cleaned but not restored, it retains its original kerosene-powered patina with some rust, oxidation, wear and soot from the flame. There are some minor chips in the glass globe in one section of the top, and one metal tab for securing the handle is bent slightly downwards - it could be carefully straightened.
