Antique Lantern DIETZ Large WIZARD, Oil Kerosene Lamp, 1918, Loc Nob Shade, 1914

ANTIQUE DIETZ WIZARD OIL/KEROSENE LANTERN. This 104 year old Dietz full size Wizard lantern is 13-1/2" tall not including the hanging loop with a base diameter of 6-1/2" and weighs almost 2-1/2 pounds. It has numerous early 20th century patent numbers and a M-1918 manufacture date on one vertical tube. The M stands for the main factory that was located in New York City, NY. The shade is marked Loc Nob D-Lite pat 1914, 1918.

It has been inspected, cleaned and has all parts. The wick adjustment and shade lift work properly, and the signed glass shade can be easily removed for periodic cleaning.
