It stands 12 ¼" tall to the top of the spout, stands 9" tall from top to bottom of the wire mesh cylinder, and it measures 7 in diameter. The small top filler cap removes easily. The large cap with the spout attached does not, not sure if it was meant to. These were used in the old days to regularly fill all of the household's oil lamps and lanterns with kerosene. Not many of these old fragile wire mesh models have survived 100+ years as this one has.Expect minor evidence of use or imperfections, dings etc. We take many photos of our items to assist with the description.
