Pair of Antique Carriage Lanterns. These have some corrosion and age. It appears as if they have been reconditioned?

Clearly they have been painted black. This is obvious due to black paint on top of corrosion. The lantern on the right in the pictures, The lantern it self falls through the supports in the lamp. There has been some corrosion in there as shown in the pictures.

The glass has one crack in the corner and a scratch on the other. All in all these are very nice looking. I don't see any marks to indicate who made them?

Thank You for your consideration.
