Antique 19th Century P & A Hanging Brass Oil Lamp Lantern Nautical Marine Ship

Beautiful P & A Manufacturing Company brass oil lamp from the turn of the 20th century (perhaps even earlier) in working condition! Fantastic antique condition, this is an attic find with the original verdigris patina. Although this lamp fired up and stayed lit we have to sell this oil lamp as-is for parts or repair only as we are not able to guarantee how the lamp will hold the oil refill and perform over time. There also a few rubber gaskets that are over 100 years old and obviously they will need to be replaced to insure safe operation of this oil lamp, especially in a marine setting. Please consider this if you are purchasing this piece for anything other than display.

Lots of marks, patina, scratches, rust spots, paint splashes, polishing effort remnants all typical of age and use. No major dents to the brass surfaces, just heavy verdigris patina and signs of storage. There was no glass lampshade so the lamp comes as shown.
