A BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE BRASS & STAINED GLASS HALL LANTERN, circa-1870

This beautiful antique brass and stained glass hall lantern, dating back to the 1870s, exudes old-world charm and sophistication. Made in England, this large impressive hall lantern features intricate stained glass panels that add a touch of elegance to any space and look amazing when lit from behind. It measures approximately 22" overall height by 11" wide with the brass hanging frame, while the main section holding the glass is 10 1/2" tall by 7" square.

In excellent condition, it's superior quality to many lanterns of this type. The glass panels are also much finer quality than the average, with bevelled edge clear glass sections to the centre (one cracked). A very nice piece in every respect with bags of charm and character, it will transform a room when fitted, I would suggest by a qualified electrician. Please remember this is now around one hundred and fifty plus years old and so will have some small marks, scratches and dents etc - see pictures.
