1947 COLEMAN Empire 237 LANTERN Canada Green and Brass 1/47. Lantern is pre-owned in overall fair condition for its age. It is untested and pump creates pressure, but likely not completely functional.

It is therefore listed as "for parts/not working". Would do best as a display collector's item. The fount is brass coloured, but there is seafoam coloured remnants underneath so perhaps it has been stripped. The vent is a regular green.

There are several areas with paint loss on the vent. Fount has some scratches, patina and rust spots as well.

Handle is in overall good shape, but doesn't move smoothly. Globe is in great shape - it has a green rising sun and marked "Coleman". The green is not so obvious anymore - is more of a hint of green. Globe base rest has wear and patina and has "instructions" in English, Spanish and French.

It states that the model is Empire No. The inside has soot remnants. Sunshine of the Night Made in Canada 1 47. Some rust to bottom rim of fount. Despite the above, this is an overall very nice, rare piece.
