1800 Antique Kersosene Lamp/Lantern

What a Beautiful piece of history. This lamp was being used prior to me acquiring it. I believe it was lamp oil vs. One could also use low odor mineral spirits. I personally do not like the odor of kerosene. These lamps were traditionally used before the widespread availability of electricity.

This lamp is gorgeously decorated clear glass. The image reminds me of a fern.

This lamp is heavy weighing 5 pounds even without a top piece. The wide pedestal measures 7", the height is 11", and the bottom circumference is 7. Thank you for checking out my AntiquesLuAntique.
