It's a Ditmar Maxim 520. And yes the red cap on top does go to this lamp. It stands about 16 tall, seems to have everything but the glass globe. I can't get the pump to work properly so I don't know if the pressure gauge works or not.
It does need a good cleaning and the outside needs to be polished it has a grainy type of feel to it. There is a dime size chip in the enameled top where it screws to the lamp. It probably needs more work then I know but then again I don't use them. It seems to be extremely well made, and that it would last for decades or more it taken care of.
